Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
Woodbridge Printing (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit woodbridgeprinting.com or submit a quote request, and what we do with it.
We’ve tried to keep this document short and in plain English. If you have any questions, email us at team@woodbridgeprinting.com.
Who we are
Woodbridge Printing is a family-run commercial print shop based in Somerville, New Jersey. We’ve been serving Somerset County businesses since 1980. Our website is operated by the owners of the business (Frank, Anna, and Matt Racz).
What we collect
Information you give us directly:
When you submit a quote request through our website, we collect:
- Your name
- Your business name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The product or service you’re asking about
- Any project details, files, or descriptions you share with us
Information we collect automatically:
When you visit our website, we use Google Analytics and Umami to understand how people find and use the site. Umami is a privacy-friendly analytics tool that runs on a server operated by our sister company, Woodbridge Agency, and it uses no cookies. Together they record:
- Your general location (typically city or region level, based on IP address)
- The pages you view and how long you spend on them
- The device and browser you’re using
- The website that referred you to ours (if any)
On the quote form, Umami also counts which step of the form people reach and whether they send it — step numbers and counts only, never anything you type — so we can tell if the form is asking too much.
This information is anonymized and aggregated — we use it to understand overall site performance, not to track individual visitors.
How we use it
We use the information you share with us to:
- Respond to your quote request
- Prepare and deliver your print order
- Follow up on past orders or check in about reorders
- Keep your design files on record so you can reorder easily in the future
- Communicate with you about your business with us
- Improve our website and the services we offer
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone for their marketing purposes. Period.
The chat on this site
There is a chat button on this site. It is there to answer questions about printing — what we can produce, how long something takes, what we need from you to get started. Here is exactly what happens if you use it.
What we store. What you type and what the chat replies, so we can read the conversation afterwards and follow up properly. We also store which page you were on when you asked, a random session number so we can read one conversation in order, and some timing and size measurements that tell us the chat is working and what it costs us to run.
If you send us a request from the chat. When you are ready, the chat can offer a short card asking for your name, your email and, if you want, a phone number. Nothing is sent until you press Send. Your details, what you asked for and the conversation then come to us as a quote request, and are kept like any other. If you go on to use the quote form instead, we keep the chat’s session number with your request so we can see the conversation that led to it.
An AI model writes the replies. The model is run by Anthropic, and your side of the conversation is sent to them so they can generate the reply. It is not a person typing, and it is not Frank or Anna answering live.
What the chat was about. Each night, a finished conversation is sent to Anthropic once more so their model can label it: a short title, what it was about (for example “banners”), whether you were asking for a price, and any question the chat couldn’t answer. We use those labels to see what customers ask about most, and to teach the chat the answers it was missing. The labels describe the conversation, not you: they leave out names, email addresses and phone numbers.
Files you attach. The request card lets you attach artwork if you want to. A file you choose goes straight to our file storage and comes to us with your request, exactly as it would from the quote form. Nothing is uploaded unless you pick it.
Remembering you on this device. So you can pick up where you left off, the chat keeps your conversation, and the name, email and phone you sent from it, in your own browser’s storage on the device you used, for 30 days. It is not sent to us again or shared with anyone; it is how your next visit knows what you asked last time and fills in your details. “Clear this chat” in the chat window deletes it straight away, and so does clearing your browser’s site data.
The chat cannot see your account. It answers from information we have written for it about the shop and what we print. It has no access to your order history, your past artwork, your invoices or your balance.
Please don’t type anything sensitive into it. It is a good place to ask what a job costs. It is not the place for card numbers, bank details or anything you would not put in an ordinary email.
How long we keep it. We delete what you typed, what the chat replied and the one-line summary of the conversation after 90 days. What stays after that is the record that a conversation happened: which page it was on, the session number, whether we answered you, a short label of what it was about (such as “banner quote”), and the timing and size measurements. None of it contains your name or contact details.
Who reads it. We do. Woodbridge Agency, which builds and runs this website and the chat for us, can see the conversations too, in order to keep the thing working. Nobody else does.
If you want a chat deleted sooner, email team@woodbridgeprinting.com and tell us roughly when you used it and what it was about. We are not being awkward about it: a chat on its own is not filed under your name, so without that we have no way to find yours. If you sent us a request from the chat, it is filed with that request and we can find it from your name.
You never have to use it. The quote form, the phone number and our email address all work exactly the same way without it.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate our business. These providers only receive the information they need to do their jobs, and they’re bound by their own privacy practices:
- Vercel — hosts our website, and stores the artwork and design files you upload to us through this site
- Resend — delivers our emails, including the confirmation we send you and the notification we send ourselves; where you have uploaded artwork, copies of those files are attached to those emails
- Google Analytics — provides aggregated website analytics
- Woodbridge Agency — our sister company, which builds and runs this website, the chat and the quote form, and operates the Umami analytics server
- 4over — our commercial print supplier, which may receive your shipping address and order details to fulfill your print job
- Anthropic — runs the AI model that writes the chat’s replies and labels each conversation, and receives the conversation in order to do that
- Google Workspace — handles our business email (team@woodbridgeprinting.com)
If we ever need to disclose your information because the law requires it (subpoena, court order, etc.), we will.
Data sharing
- Customer data is not shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
- Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing that may be mentioned elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.
- Consumer SMS data is not transferred to external organizations, except to essential service providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations (such as the SMS carrier that delivers our messages).
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information and prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
How long we keep it
Because one of the core promises of Woodbridge Printing is that we remember your file so you can reorder easily, we keep customer information and design files indefinitely — unless you ask us to delete them.
Website analytics data is retained by Google Analytics according to Google’s default retention period (currently 14 months) and then automatically deleted. Umami’s data stays on Woodbridge Agency’s analytics server and contains no names, email addresses or anything you type.
Chat conversations follow their own clock: we delete what was typed after 90 days, and keep only the anonymous record that a conversation happened, with a short label of what it was about. See “The chat on this site” above.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Send you a copy of the personal information we have about you
- Correct any inaccurate information
- Delete your information and design files from our records
- Stop contacting you for follow-ups, reorder reminders, or business communications
To make any of these requests, email team@woodbridgeprinting.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time, usually within a few business days.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On from Google.
Cookies
Our website uses a small number of cookies to function properly and to collect the analytics described above. By using our site, you consent to this use. If you prefer, you can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work correctly as a result.
Children’s privacy
Woodbridge Printing is a business-to-business service. Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we’ve collected information from a child, we’ll delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us — secure hosting and encrypted form submissions.
Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only. We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of your information.
No system is perfect, but we take this seriously and treat your business’s information the way we’d want ours treated.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top and post the new version on this page. For significant changes, we’ll notify active customers by email.
Messaging terms and conditions
- The messaging program consists only of conversational and customer support messages — for example, responses to your questions, order updates, and general support communications. We do not send promotional or marketing SMS messages.
- To opt out of SMS messages, reply STOP to any message. After we receive your STOP message, we will send a confirmation SMS, and you will no longer receive messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
- For help, reply HELP to any message or email team@woodbridgeprinting.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency will vary based on communication needs. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
- If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our privacy policy contained in the rest of this document/page.
If you have questions about these messages, contact Woodbridge Printing at team@woodbridgeprinting.com or (908) 895-5309.
